The Lone Spur Grill is a popular mainstay in Minnetonka because of its quality of food and service. It serves Tex-Mex and BBQ dishes with a southern hospitality.
The Lone Spur is known for its appetizers, such as Moppo Wings, Spur Wings, and the very hot Coyote Wings, which are made from fresh-roasted habanero peppers. Another treat is the brisket, which is smoked for 14 hours. Or try the manager's favorite - the Chuckwagon Sandwich. Lone Spur also offers Texas-style chicken chili, which is made with wild rice and okra.
Lone Spur Grill offers an exciting selection of 17 different tequilas, and uses fresh strawberries for their famous margaritas. They also offer interesting desserts, including the Lone Spur Pie, based on an Oreo cookie crust layered with chocolate, coffee and vanilla ice cream, and topped with sliced bananas and roasted almonds.
Children under 12 eat free from the kids' menu on Tuesdays and Sundays, with the purchase of adult entrees. Lunch specials are offered every day from 11 am to 3 pm, happy hours are from 4 to 6 pm and 9:30 to 11:30 pm, and Lone Spur also offers other bar specials.
